I remember when I was growing up they used to come to my grandmother home and have dinner all she wanted was for them to sing for her those were the good old days.

My sweet Aunt Linda sent this to me tonight. This is my 90 y/o grandmother's favorite song!

In 1994 at McNeil MBC, Longs, S.C, we met Mr. McNair, Mr. Horace, Mr. Joe and Mr. Woodruff and they sang their hearts out! Afterwards my dad, Rev. Jonah B. Booth Sr, Rev. Terry R. Booth(My Brother) and I went to the dining hall and talk with them and we had a glorious time in the LORD! Rev. Booth Sr, sang with the, Dixie Hummingbird Birds in 1957, Mr Bobo the Bass singer wasn't there so, they asked my Dad to fill in for him! 1978, Hummingbirds came to Conway, S.C, there was a Mic stand but no Microphone. My dad said it was in memory of Mr Bobo. History is all around us if we take the time to listen! My Father solitifed my love for Quartet gospel at a young age! Thanks Daddy. Blessings 🙏

This group was at my church, I forgot what year, but they were singing like nobody's business!!!! The lead singer Mack passed away 😢, but the man on the guitar on the end Joseph Williams is still alive and singing in the remainder of the group!!! Praise God 🙌 for them!!!! We were having a program, and they were invited to sing on it, and that they did 👍👍👍👍🎸🎸🎤. They had our church praising big time!!!! I enjoyed that night so much. My son, Keith Thomas when he worked for the Atlanta Constitution, traveled with the Sensational Nightengales and wrote of their time on Road. He enjoyed it very much, he enjoyed it immensely. You see, they have always enjoyed gospel music, they listened to it all of their lives.

This brings back great childhood memories.

I love this. The Grace Gospelaires were my Grandpa singing bass, my Aunt singing alto, and my Uncle singing lead and playing guitar. Uncle Donald inspired me to start playing guitar at 12 years old and Grandpa inspired me to sing bass. Grandpa died when I as only 2 years old but I remember him and always will.

I have always loved this song every since I was a child.

Yep...I luv this music right here! I grew up on the 'gales. I remember going to see them when I was a little girl of 3 or 4 years old. It's one of my first memories as a child. I remember the tall, skinny guy pointing his guitar up to heaven. :)
