According to the movie's official site, the Blu-ray and DVD of K: Missing Kings will be released on April 22, 2015. The discs will include both Japanese and English subtitles.
The site also features a new promotional video for K 2nd Season, announcing that the TV series will premiere in Fall 2015. Shingo Suzuki will return as director for the second season, and animation will continue by GoHands.
"Do you ever have a problem where you just don't know how to reply to an argument-- not because you don't know the answer, but you just don't where to begin? Like, the foundation of knowledge you'd need to impart to this person before you could even begin to drag them out of their sinkhole of ignorance would cost thousands of dollars, if it were coming from a University?" -MAL in a nutshell.
This is one of the few shows worth watching for the animation alone. I remember not caring about the characters and plot yet enjoying it. If season 1 is anything to go by, the movie and the second season should look glorious.
5 main aspects I base my ratings on:
1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it?
2. Is it better than Breaking Bad?
3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it?
4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL?
5. Is it actually good?
Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant...
Awesome. I wish more BD Boxes would include English subs.

Stark700 said: Question about the movie. Is it necessary to watch it since I heard the events many transit into the second season?
Having watched the movie, I would say yes, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a brief recap of the movie in the second season. Most of the movie itself is pretty much a filler anyway.

K? Shit, I wrote that off a long time ago. Forgot I finished it. But since I saw this I had some memories from watching it popping back up in my head. Mostly just the sexy cat-girl and I think something about a guy who controls fire attacking a school. I dunno, it's groggy.
K is original story. Mangas started publishing same year as anime. Only seen two mangas, seem to be all side/back stories.
Hope to see more amazing skateboard & sword animation, plus the mystery theorizing, and music by angela.
