The result was: Moved to Spain. BD2412 T 15:34, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Instead of having quotes about a general theme, this page is like selections from a thesis in support of a fairly academic point. The quotes include recitations of statistics and are uninvolving when taken from whatever their context may be. - InvisibleSun 02:54, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete. The quote by Hans F.K. Günther ought to be preserved somewhere, but the page should go. BD2412 T 04:39, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep, subject to the quotes being replaced, in whole or part, by new ones of more general interest. I'll have a bash at that myself. The subject is certainly notable, and surely someone must have said something pithy about the Spanish. --Antiquary 21:13, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment I incline twoards keep per Antiquary. We should change to Spanish people to match Wikipedia.--Cato 21:37, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. If, thanks to Antiquary, the quotes are to be replaced, perhaps the page should be moved to "Spain" in keeping with other articles about nations (and their inhabitants). - InvisibleSun 21:58, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. I moved it to Spanish people before reading InvisibleSun's suggestion, and I now think he may well have the better idea. As things stand we could eventually find ourselves with both pages. More comments? --Antiquary 22:19, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- I've recently started pages on France and Italy, and I really think it makes more sense for pages on countries to be about the countries themselves, not necessarily about the people (since "Spanish people" could be people of Spanish decent living anywhere). Cheers! BD2412 T 23:48, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep and move to "Spain" per evolving standards. Trim as appropriate. KillerChihuahua 11:08, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Move to "Spain". ~ UDScott 16:47, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. It has been moved to Spain; this happened several days ago. The notice at the top, however, no longer directs the reader/editor to this page, but to Wikiquote:Votes for deletion/Spain, which does not exist and is a redlink. Stratford490 22:40, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Fixed with a redirect, for now. Also, keep as revised. Cheers! BD2412 T 02:28, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
